I have a folder at work of great starts to projects that never really take off. This is one of them. I’m always trying to infuse more design into the literature that we put out. A lot of the work of a labor union is very fast paced and the lit we produce is full of important information, often leaving little room for good design. Every once in a while a project comes along that isn’t a fire to put out and I can actually think and design and plan. Usually these die somewhere before being utilized for various reasons.

A while ago, I was approached by an organization we partner with that helps hospital workers move up the career ladder. They were initiating a green campaign to help educate hospitals and staff about more Eco-friendly ways of working. I came up with these images to use in different areas of the hospitals for Techs, Environmental Services and Nurses. The idea was to brand our content with eye catching images that would help impart some sort of useful information about the green efforts being enacted. Unfortunately, this never panned out, so now I have these great images that need a purpose.

Ah well, I’ll keep trying to get some cool graphics going here as I can.
