This month, I, along with some other fellow drawers, am doing portraits of Olympic Athletes. Today I watched a bit of the men’s water polo team. These guys are some tough dudes despite the idea that they are having fun in a swimming pool.
Agreed. Water Polo is an insane sport. This looks really good. I like the style and the hand-drawn type.
It was a good move to keep the helmet untied. I’m not sure who designed the US men’s helmets, but that huge, bright red bow under their chins does not help with their otherwise very many image.
