This is the first font I’ve created completely from scratch. There are things I really like about the letters and some troublesome areas— for instance, I’m not sure the descender is working on the A of creativity. Also, I don’t think the corner embellishments are right…but I’ve seriously had to walk away from this for a while. Now that I’m ready to come back to it…any thoughts before I get going again?

This is really beautiful.
My biggest critique is probably in relation to the light source. It seems to generally come from the top right, but some letters, like the S, defy that. Also, I agree that the corner embellishments aren’t perfect here. Also, I like the line dividers, but the rounded plus sign in the middle seems out of place because it doesn’t follow the same slant as everything else.
Lastly, I have no problem with the A decenter. And the TT and other ligatures are really quite nice.
Taking on a font is a huge project. I still haven’t finished the one I started long long ago because it becomes somewhat tedious.
This is looking really good, though I agree with Micah’s point about the lighting.
Having decenders on the letters can be great as optional characters to be used at the beginning or end of a sentence particularly.
Awesome Anna, looking good. My only comment would be to take a second look at the curve of the “C” and “G.” Seems like they could be smoothed/rounded out a little more elegantly. Also I wonder how the “S” would look if the bottom had an upward curve to it.
