Right now I’m on a bokeh craze. I tried a technique that worked so splendidly on jazzing up an image of a couple dancing under a chandelier, that I went on to make a Save the Date card using the techinque—but as more of an illustrative look. I think the concept works as it is vague enough for a couple who hasn’t finalized their wedding theme, but it still says “celebration”. I am currently tweaking, so if you have comments, fire away.

I must admit that ‘Bokeh’ is a new word for me. Thanks to wikipedia, though, I’m all caught up now.
Great work, as always. It definitely feels celebration/champagne and quite warm and inviting. Do you know anything about the wedding theme, though? I ask, because it seems like it might be strange if the actual invite had different colors and completely different styling. It would also be sad if the Save-the-date card actually out-shown the real thing. If you are doing that as well, then you have your work cut out for you.
Hmm, hadn’t thought of it as being not generic enough. It is not for a specific client, but rather “stock”. The design is meant to be customizable, so the colors are easily changed according to client preference. But I see what you mean about the personality being so strong. Maybe I’ll just go on to create the whole wedding set…good feedback. Thanks!
