Welcome to the Co-op.

I work for a rather large corporation and I generally like it. However, like many creative folk who have the need to actually make money, my job does not always push me to do the kind of work that I would like to do. Unfortunately, also like the above mentioned folk, I find it very hard to force myself to use my evenings and weekends doing the same thing I do during my weekdays.

Enter the Designer Co-op, a place where creative professionals can come for encouragement and motivation to do more and better personal work.

The idea is simple. Each member will post an entry once a week, every week, on a given day. Most weeks the members will post whatever they want. It can be a sketch, a final logo, a new painting, whatever. They just have to do something. Some weeks, however, will be themed, challenging the members to work in a specific style, assignment or idea. We might even do some creative writing. Who knows? The main objective is to simply force members to come up with their own projects and work on them, week in and week out.

I also want to see the Co-op be a place for discussion. I want members to get quality feedback on their work and praise on their awesomeness from both fellow members and others who love good creative. If that is you, then please leave comments.
